This 15ml soothing and delicately-fragranced essence spray is based on Dr. Bach’s original Rescue Remedy recipe for his five flower essence combination of Cherry Plum, Clematis, Impatiens, Rock Rose and Star of Bethlehem, with the extra additions of Aspen, Mimulus and White Chestnut flower essences. Rest-tonight Spray alleviates worry, anxiety, irritability, nightmares, fear , agitation, restlessness, repetitive thought patterns, inner tension, fidgetiness and hyperactivity. It promotes a peaceful, calm and fearless state, in order to encourage a good night’s rest. It is soothing and comforting to those who are overwrought, in shock or suffering from grief.
The Rest To-Night essences have been combined in a base of organic Orange Blossom Water produced in Provence, which has long been used by the French to soothe adults and infants into restful sleep.
A little of the spray can be put onto the pillow, bedclothes or a handkerchief at bedtime. This method is suitable for adults or babies. Or squirt a little of the spray onto your hand and stroke it over your forehead and head, and then down to the nape of your neck. For unsettled babies a little of the spray can be stroked gently round their belly button in a clockwise direction. For irritability, restlessness or repetitive thoughts, rub a little of the spray onto your forehead and temples, hairline, inner wrists, and around the solar plexus in a clockwise direction. You can also put a little of the spray on one hand. Then rub the hands together and inhale through cupped hands three times, before sweeping your hands through your aura. For animals that are restless, anxious or frightened, due to loud noises or stormy weather for example, put a little of the spray on one hand and stroke it through their coat, starting at the head end. Repeat every 15 - 30 minutes until the animal has clamed down. A little can also be sprayed onto their bedding at bedtime.
