About Hawaiian Essences
Hawaii is truly a garden of Eden with tropical rainforests, white sand beaches, majestic volcanoes and a year-round warm, sunny climate. (No I don't work for a travel agent!) Even though it is half way across the other side of the world from where I live, its inspiring and magical atmosphere draws me back to Hawaii time and time again. It is truly my spiritual home. The plants on Hawaii grow in super abundant profusion, which is due to the sub-tropical climate, the minerally rich volcanic soil, and the strong magnetic power imparted by the still-active volcanic forces, rising from deep within the earth. The flowers "yell" to be made into flower essences, even when travelling in the car at night. Their exotic fragrances imbue one's soul with the spirit of their being. They say "come here, pick as many flowers as you like, I'll make more tomorrow." These 84 flower essences have been gathered from the spectacular choice of over 50,000 tropical plants on the main islands of Oahu, Maui, Big Island and Kauai. Many of the plants chosen for essence-making have big, colourful, flamboyant flowers such as Hibiscus, Lotus, Bird of Paradise and the tropical water lilies, but there are also many fascinating native jungle plants with more discreet flowers, such as Akia, Noni, Ilima, Kukui, Ohia Lehua, Ohelo, Ti and Koa. These were originally used by the Hawaiian people for fishing, house-building, food, for the medicines of the Kahuna and protection from evil spirits. All the mother essences were made with Hawaiian mineral water, which is drawn up from deep artesian wells sunk beside Mauna Loa, one of Hawaii's highest volcanoes, which is situated on Big Island.
The 15ml essences are £6.00 each, plus £1.50 for UK or £2.00 for international postage and packing. For each additional essence ordered it is an extra 35p for UK, or 50p for international postage and packing per essence.
