This is for the animal that is out sorts, despondent or unhappy. This animal has no zest for life, sleeps a lot and may refuse to eat. It may be being bullied by other animals, upset by the introduction of another pet/baby/child/partner, or by the loss of a human or animal friend. It may be upset by a change of owner, residence or routine, or is coping poorly following surgery. It is helpful for pets who have been neutered, are giving birth for the first time, adjusting to some physical dysfunction such as the loss of a limb, or going deaf or blind. This combination essence contains Honeysuckle and Walnut for those animals who find it hard to cope with big changes in their routine. Emerald is for stressed animals who constantly chew on grass to make themselves vomit, where there is no underlying illness, and Gentian is for lack of appetite and despondency following domestic upheaval. Olive is for rejuvenation and support during convalescence. Clematis, Star of Bethlehem, Impatiens, Rock Rose, Aspen and Cherry plum are for alleviating confusion, irritability, trauma and fear. Crab Apple is for animals with maddening itches, who constantly bite, scratch or lick their fur or pull their feathers out. The essences are also helpful for animals who are normally fastidiously clean, such as cats, who can become depressed and miserable when suffering from skin problems.
If the animal has skin problems, put a few drops on a small piece of food to give to the animal, or put drops in the animal’s drinking water, rather than putting drops on your hand and stroking through the animal’s coat.
